CBI Health is seeking a Full-Time Community Occupational Therapist to serve Victoria, Langford and Westshore. You’ll deliver collaborative, relationship-based occupational therapy in the community, helping clients return to work and regain independence.

You will be supported by a national network, mentored by leadership, with opportunities to grow toward leadership; travel to rural sites may be required; a valid driver’s license and vehicle are needed; compensation is competitive with

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC in good standing.
• Experience in the private sector and community settings.
• Experience with Mental Health diagnoses and brain/spinal injuries.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; willing to travel to rural sites.
• Passionate about the profession and committed to ongoing professional development.

We are seeking an occupational therapist to join our team in delivering collaborative, relationship-based occupational therapy services in the community. As a self-starter with integrity and accountability, the successful candidate would have the opportunity to develop a holistic occupational therapy practice with mentorship and support from our leadership team. Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Provide occupational therapy services to people who have sustained mental health, physical, or brain injuries.
• Meet clients where they are at, in their homes, workplaces, communities, or virtually.
• Form relationships built with trust, seek to understand factors and facilitators relating to a client access to, initiation of, and sustained occupational participation.
• Collaborate with clients, employers, funders, and health care team members in designing and delivering tailored occupational therapy services to promote return to work, reintroduction of everyday occupations, and well-being.
• Connect with team members and team leaders to innovate and improve the quality of the healthcare services we provide.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

• You are a graduate of a recognized School of Occupational Therapy
• You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in BC
• Have experience in the private sector and working within the community
• Experience withMental Health diagnoses, brain and spinal cord injuries
• Hold a valid driver\'s license and have access to a vehicle with a willingness to travel to rural site(s)
• You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
