Job summary

Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse in Obstetrics to join our compassionate team. The successful candidate provides nursing care in the Obstetrics Department, supporting labor, delivery, and postpartum patients according to Ontario standards.

Requirements include current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, obstetrics experience, neonatal resuscitation, and fetal health surveillance training.

Qualifications

• Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Recent obstetrics experience including labour and delivery.
• Neonatal and fetal health surveillance training within the last 2 years.
• Breastfeeding course completed or in progress.
• Neonatal resuscitation and STABLE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Obstetrics Department in accordance with standards.
• Perform daily nursing duties and assignments for obstetric patients.
• Ensure care aligns with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hospital policies.

Education

Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour Program completed within last 2 years

Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate (preferred)

Breastfeeding course (INFACT/WHO)

Current Neonatal Resuscitation certification

STABLE certification (preferred)
