The Program Medical Director (“PMD”) Gynecologic Oncology is responsible for overall provincial leadership of the Gynecologic Oncology Program. The position involves establishing standards, goals, strategies, policies, and processes for the clinical program, and supporting their implementation in collaboration with Department Heads, Executive Medical Directors (EMDs), Medical Directors (MDs), and other professional practice leaders. The PMD ensures patient-centered care that is equitable, timely, and of high quality across all regions of the province. The role also includes supporting research and education activities.
