Job summary

Save-On-Foods in North Vancouver, BC, is hiring a Nutrition Specialist for the Pemberton Plaza location. The successful candidate will support customers with nutrition information, product recommendations and in-store events, while maintaining health department displays and stock levels.

We seek individuals with nutrition-related credentials and retail wellness experience, who excel in communication and share a passion for great service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Nutritionist or Certified Nutrition Practitioner.
• Retail wellness experience and cross-selling ability.
• Knowledge of health and vitamin products and how to demonstrate use.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and provide information on natural health products and supplements.
• Suggest nutrition, product and recipe recommendations to customers.
• Coordinate and facilitate in-store health events and programs including demonstrations.
• Manage health department inventory, stock, rotate, clean and maintain displays.
• Set up in-store promotional displays and maintain planograms.
• Mentor team members within the department on ongoing development.

We are hiring for a Nutrition Specialist at our Pemberton Plaza Save-On-Foods location in North Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate must have open availability and be available for 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assisting, answering questions and providing information on natural health products, supplements and solutions to customers.
• Providing product, nutrition and recipe suggestions and recommendations.
• Supporting the coordination and facilitation of in-store health events and other related programs and services including food and product demonstrations.
• Inventory management including ordering, stocking, rotating, cleaning and maintaining the appearance and organization of the health department.
• Supporting with setting up in-store promotional displays.
• Maintaining planograms for the health department.
• Coaching and mentoring team members within the department to support their ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Practitioner, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience in retail Wellness and cross-selling.
• Knowledge of various health and vitamin products and services available with the ability to effectively demonstrate use of products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and engage with customers on a regular basis.
• Passion for outstanding service.
• Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

Compensation Details: $21.00 - $23.50. The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
