ByWard Family Health Team (BWFHT) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our interdisciplinary primary care team in a permanent, full-time role.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established patient panel of approximately 1,700 patients, build meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients, and practise comprehensive primary care with a high degree of clinical autonomy.
You won't be doing it alone. You'll be supported by physicians, nurses and a diverse team of allied health professionals, giving you access to additional expertise and services to support the medical, mental health and social needs of your patients.
The position is 40 hours per week with a starting annual salary of $190,000, comprehensive benefits and enrolment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP).
ByWard Family Health Team is a busy, progressive primary care organization serving a diverse patient population in Ottawa.
Our interdisciplinary model brings together physicians, Nurse Practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals to provide accessible, comprehensive and patient-centred care.
We offer the autonomy of independent NP practice with the advantage of an experienced clinical team and allied health resources working alongside you.
As a Nurse Practitioner with BWFHT, you will serve as the primary care provider for an established panel of approximately 1,700 patients, providing comprehensive and longitudinal primary care.
You will independently assess, diagnose, treat and manage a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions while working collaboratively with physicians and our interdisciplinary team.
As part of BWFHT, you'll have access to an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who work together to provide comprehensive care.
Our NPs are supported by physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, social workers, pharmacists, dietitians and other allied health professionals and specialized clinical services.
This collaborative model means you can connect your patients directly with additional expertise and support while maintaining continuity as their primary care provider.
