WNHAC in Ontario is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care within the Extended Class scope, collaborating with interprofessional teams to deliver holistic health and community-centered services. The role requires independent practice, leadership and mentorship, and adherence to clinical protocols.
Travel within communities is part of the role; strong communication and cultural competency, and valid driver’s license are expected.

Nurse Practitioner
Our teams provide primary health care through a range of options including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment. Team members include health professionals, educators, and support workers representing both traditional Indigenous and contemporary models of care, and use wholistic health and community development concepts.
The Nurse Practitioner functions independently within the Extended Class scope of practice, and in collaboration with members of the interprofessional team.
NOTE: Traditional practices involving burning sacred medicines including tobacco, sweetgrass, sage and cedar and other cultural protocols occur regularly within our work setting.
Salary: $65.33-$72.52 per hour with excellent benefits, including HOOPP pension plan. Salary is in accordance with the Ontario Nurses’ Association Contract (ONA)
