Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Nurse Practitioner at Gravelbourg Primary Health Clinic. This role provides autonomous, evidence-informed care across primary and acute settings, reporting to a manager within Primary Care Sites.

You will diagnose, treat, prescribe, and coordinate care as the most responsible provider. Requires a Master’s in Nursing and CRNS eligibility; a minimum of 3 years RN experience in Emergency/Acute/Primary Care is preferred.

Qualifications

This Nurse Practitioner (NP) role provides autonomous, evidence-informed care across continuing care, long-term care, primary health care, acute care, urgent care, and emergency settings. The position will report to and work under the direction of a manager in one of the designated program areas. Practicing within Saskatchewan Health Authority policies, CRNS standards, and legislated NP scope, the NP assesses, diagnoses, treats, prescribes, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, performs authorized procedures, and evaluates care for clients with common acute illnesses, stable chronic conditions, urgent and emergent needs, and health promotion priorities as the most responsible provider (MRP). The NP works collaboratively with clients, families, physicians, multi-disciplinary teams, community partners, and managers to support safe, person-centred, culturally responsive, and coordinated care.
