Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Nurse Educator in Calgary to lead clinical education for nursing staff, mentor teams, and drive quality improvement. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing and current nursing registration in Alberta
• 3–5 years of experience with seniors in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care
• Proven experience developing and delivering clinical education
• Knowledge of Alberta health regulations, acts, and care standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

As a Nurse Educator at Chartwell, you’ll play a vital role in supporting nursing staff, residents, and families by providing clinical education, guidance, and leadership. Your expertise will help ensure that resident care is delivered with excellence while fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement.

What You’ll Do

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to work hours required for effective operation, including on-call responsibilities
• Ability to respond to emergencies and manage high-pressure situations with professionalism
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including walking, standing, and supporting staff in clinical care
• Comfort using AI and other digital platform systems and tools to support daily work
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
