Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences seeks an Unregulated Care Aide to provide personal care, support, and compassionate service to residents. You will assist with daily routines, mobility, meals, and ensure a safe, dignified living environment. Strong empathy and high hygiene standards are essential.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to care plans, and responsive communication with residents and families within a welcoming culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, laundry, food service, or support services.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines.
• Provide support with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal service.
• Administer medications and follow individual care plans.
• Keep resident areas clean and safe; follow health and safety protocols.
• Respond to resident and family concerns and report to the Health and Wellness Manager when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Help residents with personal care, mobility, and daily routines like dressing and meals


• Provide support with laundry, light housekeeping, and meal service


• Administer medications and follow individual care plans [CS1]


• Keep resident areas clean and safe, and follow all health and safety protocols


• Respond to resident and family concerns and report to the Health and Wellness Manager when needed

What You’ll Bring
