Northern Health in Terrace, BC is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to lead day-to-day clinical operations and ensure high-quality patient care. The PCC will guide staff, serve as a clinical resource, and support patient and family education within a strong, patient-centred care model.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, policy development, staffing planning, and ongoing quality improvement to enhance care delivery across designated areas.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing; advanced clinical specialty prep; 2 yrs recent clinical experience; 2 yrs supervisory/teaching exp or equivalent.
• Current practicing registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations and ensure quality patient care in designated areas.
• Supervise staff, role-model clinical decision-making and provide education to families.
• Review policies/procedures, ensure adequate staffing and quality improvement.
• Liaise with interdisciplinary team to optimize resource use and staff education.
