Job summary

Autism Services in Regina is seeking a Nurse B to join the Parkside Special Care Home. Reporting to the Care Team Manager, you will provide leadership in resident care, coordinate routines, and support the resident care team to maintain the highest standard of care and service.

Requirements include a minimum of three years in long-term care nursing, a BScN, and BLS certification. Psychiatric nursing credentials are acceptable.

Qualifications

Job Description: Reporting to the Care Team Manager the Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for supporting the highest standard of care and service provision to residents living on a given neighborhood. As an experienced practitioner, the resident care coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination of resident care, and provide support and teaching to the resident care team (including residents and residents families) within a collaborative environment. The routine procedures are generally predetermined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position.
