The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Goodsoil is hiring a Primary Health Care Registered Nurse at the Meadow Lake Associate Clinic. You will provide and coordinate initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services within a population health promotion model, focusing on prevention and wellness.

As part of the Meadow Lake team, you will refer to other providers, participate in community initiatives, and contribute to PHC program evaluation.

Qualifications

• BScN degree and CRNS eligibility demonstrated.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
• BCLS certification or equivalent training.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Job Description: The PHC RN is an integral member of the Meadow Lake primary health care team who provides and coordinates initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services to clients of the Meadow Lake Associate Clinic. The PHC RN functions within the population health promotion model while providing preventative, maintenance of wellness; and illness and injury prevention services. The PHC RN collaborates and makes appropriate referrals to other health care professionals, initiates and/or participates in community development initiatives and participates in the evaluation of PHC initiatives within the site.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
