Responsabilités

• Assists in planning, implementing and evaluating program activities based on determinants of health, best practice literature and community assessment.
• Provides health information, consultation, emotional support and referral via telephone and in-person contacts (clinical, school, home and community).
• Reviews, develops and evaluates educational materials and writes articles or bulletins; participates in television interviews as needed.
• Conducts educational programs for selected population groups in various settings; delivers parenting education and support programs to foster healthy families.
• Screens infants and preschool children for delays related to growth and development; provides observational experiences for nursing/medical/nutrition students andprecepts nursing students.
• Maintains accurate client records and workload measurement tools.

Job Description: Assists in planning/implementation/evaluation of program activities based on determinants of health, best practice literature & community assessment. Provides health information/consultation/emotional support & referral via telephone & in one-on-one contacts (clinical, school, home & community setting). Reviews/develops/evaluates educational materials. Assists in writing articles/preparing bulletin board displays & appearing in television interviews. Conducts educational programs for selected population groups in a variety of settings. Provides parenting education & support programs to foster healthy functioning families. Uses strategies to reduce communicable disease including immunization. Screens infants & preschool children for specific delays & deficiencies related to growth & development. Provides observational experiences for nursing/medical/nutrition students. Precepts nursing students. Maintains accurate client records/statistics/workload measurement tools.
