Job summary

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres in London, ON is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and patient care at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Certificate of Registration with the Association of Medical Radiation Technologists of the relevant province.
• Proficiency in general nuclear medicine procedures.
• Maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong English language and communication skills.
• Ability to work varying shifts and in a team or independently.
• Active participation in staff meetings to maintain competence.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures such as bone, brain, thyroid, liver, spleen, hepatobiliary, renal scans and lung imaging.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and ensure quality control.
• Monitor supplies and notify supervisor of shortages.
• Ensure safety, proper patient identification and documentation.
• Maintain calibration, quality control, and reporting per departmental guidelines.
• Observe equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and regulatory requirements.
• Assist other staff and cover workload as directed.
