Job summary

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres in Calgary seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and therapy. You will ensure patient safety, perform a range of scans, and maintain quality control within a collaborative team.

The role requires MRT/AMEG registration, BLS, and a commitment to ongoing education, with opportunities for sign-on and relocation bonuses across Canada.

Qualifications

• Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology diploma or a bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiation Sciences.
• Current and valid CMA/MRT Alberta registration.
• Current BLS and WHMIS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
• Set up and operate nuclear medicine equipment per protocol.
• Perform bone, brain, thyroid, liver, spleen, and renal scans.
• Monitor quality control and report abnormal findings.
• Maintain equipment, enforce safety procedures, and document procedures.
• Follow regulations and participate in continuing education.
