Job summary

PCL in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Nuclear Engineering student for the Canadian Industrial Division to work at our head office. This 4, 8, or 12 month opportunity starts in January 2027 as an Engineering Student.

You will contribute by creating process documentation, identifying improvements, and coordinating with department representatives to meet business requirements. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Nuclear Engineering.
• Interest in a construction environment; field construction experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite; AutoCAD and Bluebeam are assets.
• Self-motivated with a multi-discipline mindset and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain process documentation for several department functions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement of existing business applications and processes.
• Work with the procedure team to ensure the final product meets the business requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate with department representatives to resolve procedural and documentation issues.
• Train users in the efficient use of PCL’s procedures.

We are seeking a Nuclear Engineering Students for our Canadian Industrial Division to work at our head office in Edmonton, Alberta. We are looking for students that are available for 4, 8, or 12 months starting in January 2027.

As an Engineering Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

• Create and maintain process documentation for several department functions

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in Nuclear Engineering.
• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset.
• Self-motivated.
