Job summary

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent, with 5+ years of drafting experience and proficiency in Autodesk

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or related field.
• Proficient in Autodesk Suite (Inventor, AutoCAD).
• Fusion and Revit are an asset.
• Experience with structural components and fabrication drafting.
• Minimum 5 years in a Drafting/Engineering Design role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fabrication drawings, quantity calculations and 3D models for steel and concrete structures.
• Problem-solve as-built conditions and contribute to solutions with project teams.
• Report on and participate in continuous improvement of key metrics.
• Provide drafting support for tooling, fabrication templates and inspection.
• Provide clear communication with clients in a professional manner.
• Liaise with design partners, trades supervision and project team members.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
