ParaMed is seeking a NSWOC Nursing professional to deliver advanced wound, ostomy and continence care in the community setting as part of the ParaMed nursing health care team. This role provides evidence-based assessment, management and education across patient groups, through consultative or direct patient care.

You’ll lead clinical knowledge transfer, work with peers and families, and participate in leadership opportunities while benefiting from comprehensive training and career development

Formación

• Must hold NSWOC certification or credential.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in community/home settings with wound/ostomy/continence care.
• Current Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continental Canada membership preferred.
• IIWCC course may be considered; WOCC(C) certification is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct wound/ostomy/continence assessment, care and management.
• Educate patients, families, and ParaMed nursing team.
• Offer consult/clinical support to team (in-person or remote) including product recommendations.
• Participate in leadership opportunities within wound/ostomy/continence care.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; mentor ParaMed nurses as needed.
