Job summary

ParaMed in London, Ontario is seeking a Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) to join our community nursing team. You will perform advanced wound, ostomy and continence assessment, management and care in home settings, with opportunities for clinical education and leadership.

The role offers autonomy, a supportive team, and a comprehensive benefits package. Part-time and full-time scheduling include every other weekend off, with device support and mileage compensation.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario with current practice eligibility.
• NSWOC certification or willingness to obtain; IIWCC can be considered.
• Experience in community or home health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct wound, ostomy, and continence care to patients in the home setting.
• Educate patients, families, and other health-care team members.
• Provide consultation and clinical support to nursing staff (onsite or remote).
• Participate in leadership opportunities and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Precept ParaMed nurses as needed and follow evidence-based best practices.
