Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Brampton, ON is hiring a Certified Small Engines Mechanic (421A, 310T, 310S) for full-time, permanent work. You will diagnose, repair, and service small engines on rental fleet and customer equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

3+ years of hands-on experience are required; familiarity with seasonal equipment and CAT gear is a plus. Personal tools are required; on-call availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Small Engines Technician or similar role.
• Experience with 2-stroke and 4-stroke gas engines and small electrical tools.
• Ideal candidate pursuing Small Engines Certificate (MSTE).

Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose and repair defective small engines on rental equipment.
• Maintain QA rental equipment and customer-owned tools and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely repairs.
