Job summary

Trindent Consulting is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue in the downstream Oil & Gas sector. You will lead market initiatives, qualify leads, and convert opportunities into engagements.

Reporting to the President, you will build relationships with C-suite clients, negotiate terms, and mentor a sales team while traveling up to 50% to develop multi-million-dollar partnerships. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years business development experience in downstream refinery or Oil & Gas preferred.
• Experience building relationships with C-suite clients and negotiating at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the business plan for the sales practice, estimate sales potential, identify key clients, devise strategies and collaborate with teams.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with senior and C-level client executives and expand networks.
• Analyze deal probability and negotiate terms of engagement with clients to close deals.
• Obtain internal approvals to ensure timely closure of engagements and campaigns.
• Present Trindent differentiators and value proposition to clients, reviewing financials and leading proposals.
• Leverage networks to identify clients and create multi-million-dollar relationships for growth.
• Mentor and manage business development associates; set sales targets for the team.
