Job summary

Trindent Consulting is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead refinery improvement projects across North America, managing scopes from $750K to $3MM. The role emphasizes client-facing delivery, risk mitigation, and securing additional opportunities.

Travel ~80% to client sites in Canada and the US is expected. Ideal candidates hold an MBA or a related engineering degree and have 5+ years in refinery operations and project management, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication

Qualifications

5+ years of refinery operations management experience.
5+ years managing downstream workstreams (Gasoline Blending, Energy Intensity, Hydrocarbon Loss Control, Value Chain Optimization).
5+ years of experience with project management processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and review project proposals, plans, staffing, and resource allocation with leadership.
Outline work plans, assign responsibilities, and track status against milestones.
Deliver project status reports to management and clients.
Maintain strong client engagement and resolve issues affecting project success.
Mentor Operations professionals and participate in internal improvement initiatives.
