Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting/financial management experience; supervisory experience is an asset.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
• Experience in nonprofit, charitable, or grant-funded environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of fund accounting, restricted funding, grant reporting, and nonprofit financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and other standard office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including payables/receivables, GL maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports.
• Assist budgeting, forecast cash flow, and monitor variances against plans.
• Track grant revenues/expenses and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Establish financial controls and liaise with auditors during reviews or audits.
• Supervise finance staff and provide guidance to program managers.
