Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Non-Profit Accountant at Surrey Urban Mission Society. The Accountant will be responsible for financial management, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. While the role is based in Surrey, BC, some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Financial Management, Budgeting, and Reporting skills
• Experience with non-profit accounting practices and regulations
• Knowledge of tax compliance for non-profit organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
