Job summary

Retailors Sports Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a VM Lead to ensure Nike standards are met and a premium shopping experience is delivered. You will lead floor standards, train the team in VM fundamentals, and manage displays and audits to excite customers.

The role requires at least 2 years of VM experience with fashion or sports retailers, plus relevant visuals education. A fast-paced environment with Nike gear discounts awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year VM experience with a sports/fashion retailer.
• Fashion school or Visual Merchandising courses/diploma preferred.
• Keen eye for visual presentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate sales data into in-store merchandising strategy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store compliance with NIKE standards for premium experience.
• Maintain Salesfloor standards including replenishment and folding.
• Train Store team on VM fundamentals.
• Manage VM equipment, signage, shelves, and hangers.
• Execute new initiatives, floor sets and mannequin changes.
• Coordinate load-ins with BOH team and timely execution.
• Apply Visual Merchandising displays per Nike/ Retailor standards.
• Care for displays and merchandise maintenance.
• Build knowledge of VM strategies and current trends.

As a Lead, working for Retailors Sports Inc. - the official operating partner of Nikein Canada.

What You will do:

• Ensure the store is in compliance with NIKE standards and guidelines to deliver a premium shopping experience for all our customers
• Be accountable for Salesfloor standards (replenishment, folding standards, size runs, etc.)
• Training of VM fundamentals to the Store team
• Responsible for VM Equipment + Audits (i.e., Sale signages, shelves, hangers, size beads, etc.)
• Successfully execute new initiatives, floor sets and mannequin changes
• Working with BOH team to finish load-ins in a timely manner
• Implement all Visual Merchandising displays to comply with Nike Brand and Retailor NA Sports standards (visual toolkit)
• Responsible for the on-going care and maintenance of displays, merchandise
• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends

What we would love to see:

• Minimum 2-year VM experience with a sports/fashion retailer
• Related Fashion school and/or Visual Merchandising courses/diploma and /or combination of experience/education
• A keen eye for visual presentation and attention to detail
• Ability to think conceptually and diagnose and translate sales/category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

Pay range: $19.70 - $20.10
