Job summary

Retailors Sports Inc. is seeking a Visual Merchandising Lead to drive VM strategy for Nike retail locations in Canada. The role focuses on leading a high-performing team, delivering premium customer experiences, and executing floor sets and displays that reflect Nike brand standards.

You will train staff on VM fundamentals, monitor merchandising execution, and partner with back-of-house teams to maintain displays and product presentation across stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of VM experience in a sports or fashion retailer.
• Solid eye for visual presentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate sales data into in-store merchandising strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and elevate Visual Merchandising standards across Nike retail stores.
• Coach and train store team on VM fundamentals and presentation.
• Ensure stores comply with Nike brand standards and Retailors guidelines.
• Manage floor sets, replenishment, and display maintenance.
• Collaborate with BOH to load-ins and schedule VM initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Drive sales by supporting store priorities and creating an engaging shopping environment that inspires customers to purchase.
• Deliver a premium customer experience by leading through service, supporting the sales team, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects Nike Brand standards.
• Ensure the store is in compliance with NIKE standards and guidelines to deliver a premium shopping experience for all our customers.
• Be accountable for Salesfloor standards (replenishment, folding standards, size runs, etc.).
• Train and coach the store team on Visual Merchandising fundamentals and presentation standards.
• Responsible for VM Equipment + Audits (i.e., Sale signages, shelves, hangers, size beads, etc.).
• Successfully execute new initiatives, floor sets and mannequin changes.
• Work with the BOH team to complete load-ins in a timely manner.
• Implement all Visual Merchandising displays to comply with Nike Brand and Retailors NA Sports standards (visual toolkit).
• Responsible for the ongoing care and maintenance of displays and merchandise.
• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies, customer shopping behaviours, and current retail trends.
• Use sales performance and category reporting to optimize product placement and visual presentation.

What We Would Love To See

• Minimum 2-year VM experience with a sports/fashion retailer
• Related Fashion school and/or Visual Merchandising courses/diploma and /or combination of experience/education
• A keen eye for visual presentation and attention to detail
• Ability to think conceptually and diagnose and translate sales/category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
