Job summary

Retailors Sports Inc. is seeking a Lead Visual Merchandiser to drive Nike retail store aesthetics in Canada. You will lead VM initiatives, set floor plans, and coach the team to deliver premium presentations aligned with Nike Brand standards.

Responsibilities include executing floor sets, maintaining displays, and leveraging sales data to optimize product placement while collaborating with store leadership and back-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year VM experience with a sports/fashion retailer.
• Related Fashion school and/or Visual Merchandising diploma.
• Keen eye for visual presentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate sales data into in-store merchandising strategy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by supporting store priorities and creating an engaging shopping environment.
• Deliver a premium customer experience by leading through service and supporting the sales team.
• Ensure the store is in compliance with Nike standards and guidelines.
• Be accountable for Salesfloor standards (replenishment, folding standards, size runs, etc.).
• Train and coach the store team on Visual Merchandising fundamentals and presentation standards.
• Responsible for VM Equipment + Audits (signages, shelves, hangers, size beads).
• Execute new initiatives, floor sets and mannequin changes.
• Collaborate with BOH to complete load-ins timely.
• Implement all Visual Merchandising displays to comply with Nike Brand and Retailors NA Sports standards.
• Maintain displays and merchandise care.

What You Will Do

• Drive sales by supporting store priorities and creating an engaging shopping environment that inspires customers to purchase.
• Deliver a premium customer experience by leading through service, supporting the sales team, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects Nike Brand standards.
• Ensure the store is in compliance with NIKE standards and guidelines to deliver a premium shopping experience for all our customers.
• Be accountable for Salesfloor standards (replenishment, folding standards, size runs, etc.).
• Train and coach the store team on Visual Merchandising fundamentals and presentation standards.
• Responsible for VM Equipment + Audits (i.e., Sale signages, shelves, hangers, size beads, etc.).
• Successfully execute new initiatives, floor sets and mannequin changes.
• Work with the BOH team to complete load-ins in a timely manner.
• Implement all Visual Merchandising displays to comply with Nike Brand and Retailors NA Sports standards (visual toolkit).
• Responsible for the ongoing care and maintenance of displays and merchandise.
• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies, customer shopping behaviours, and current retail trends.
• Use sales performance and category reporting to optimize product placement and visual presentation.

What We Would Love To See

• Minimum 2-year VM experience with a sports/fashion retailer
• Related Fashion school and/or Visual Merchandising courses/diploma and /or combination of experience/education
• A keen eye for visual presentation and attention to detail
• Ability to think conceptually and diagnose and translate sales/category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

Pay range: $19.70 - $20.10
