Job summary

St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing services for patients, including those with complex health needs, under the supervision of the Manager Health Services.

The role includes administering prescribed treatments, leading the care team, coordinating patient care and discharge, and working across Endoscopy, L2, PRE-OP Assessment Clinic and B2 Surgery units. Shifts include nights and weekends, with standby coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Recent Surgical Nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
• Current CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations preferred (e.g. ARNM).
• RHPA scope of practice as defined by RHPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services for patients, including complex cases.
• Coordinate patient care and discharge within the care team.
• Administer prescribed treatments and lead nursing activities on units.
