Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join a top retail client’s Transportation team in Cambridge, ON. This fully onsite role covers 12-hour overnight shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM, including weekends, and supports day-to-day transportation operations such as reviewing driver information, maintaining route and vehicle documentation, and updating transportation systems and SharePoint.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of experience in transportation, supply chain, or similar

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in transportation, supply chain, warehouse, or a similar operational environment.
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (8 PM–8 AM) and weekends.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage significant documentation/data (data entry in Excel).
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Experience with driver documentation, pre-trips, maintenance records, or transportation compliance paperwork.
• Experience creating or maintaining KPI/cost-efficiency reports.
• Experience with POs, invoices, claims, or vendor coordination.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day transportation operations, including reviewing driver information, maintaining route and vehicle documentation, updating transportation systems and SharePoint, processing invoices and POs, and preparing driver scorecards, cost-efficiency reports, and other operational KPIs. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in transportation, supply chain, warehouse, or a similar operational environment, with strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
