Job summary

Creation Technologies Inc. is seeking Production Specialists to monitor quality across receiving, SMT and assembly stages. You will inspect components, operate inspection devices, and register data in the system while assisting with assembly tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes IPC standards knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication within a manufacturing environment. This is a night-shift, full-time position in British Columbia with strong safety practices.

Qualifications

1+ year experience in inspection or manufacturing/assembly roles.
Able to clearly describe defects and communicate with all levels.
Organized, detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) preferred.
Able to read assembly documentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

Inspect products/components against specifications and reject non-conforming materials.
Use inspection tools (microscope, calipers, AOI, etc.) to verify quality.
Inspect assemblies through manufacturing process and perform assembly as needed.
Operate visual inspection devices (X-ray, AOI) when required.
Record inspection data in required systems and report non-conformances.
Follow procedures for non-conformances and support supervisor directions.
