Job summary

Kindera Living is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time, temporary night shift at Banwell Gardens Care Centre in Tecumseh, Ontario. The starting wage is $36.06 CAD per hour, with duties including coordinating resident-centered care, supervising team members, and promoting a safe environment.

The successful candidate will hold a current nursing license (Ontario or equivalent), a basic CPR certificate, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Nurse or equivalent.
• Basic CPR certification is required.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Ability to relate to interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees resident-focused delivery of care.
• Provide direct supervision, leadership and education to health care team members.
• Promote the Home's values and safety for residents.
• Participate in wound care assessment and coordination with physicians when needed.
• Ensure care plans and documentation are up to date.

Education

RN licensure in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdiction (registration equivalent per Bill 60)

Knowledge of RAI-MDS – AIS certification or willing to complete within 1 year
