Job summary

Responsive Group, Inc. in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and oversee resident-focused care delivery. Lead the healthcare team, provide supervision, and advocate for residents and families on a daily basis.

The starting wage is $39.13/hour with Friday evening shifts (2pm–10pm) and additional hours as required. This role emphasizes patient-centered care within a supportive team environment and aligns with Home policies and quality indicators.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario as RN.
• CPR certification and ability to work in long-term care.
• Experience in long-term care is an asset.
• Ability to supervise and educate other healthcare team members.
• Must provide Vulnerable Sector Check and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify care plans based on residents' needs.
• Liaise with health care personnel, families, and agencies.
• Supervise unit activities and evaluate PSW and RPN performance.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy; document accurately.
• Ensure care aligns with residents' rights and quality indicators.
• Conduct unit rounds and participate in continuous improvement.
