Champion Petfoods is expanding! We are looking for a Production Operator, Packaging (Night Shift) to join our rapidly growing company. This role focuses on ensuring packaging is performed to specs with emphasis on health, safety, food safety, quality and efficiency.

You will communicate with the Production Supervisor about packaging issues or complaints. Typical day includes coordinating packaging schedules, operating automated packaging equipment, sanitation set-up/teardown, and accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude and adept with tools and equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to operate a forklift preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate packaging production schedules with the Production Shift Supervisor.
• Operate automated packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with set-up and tear-down sanitation.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and maintain records.
• Use the M3 system to issue and inventory items in Packaging.
• Maintain organized work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Support health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
