Mars is seeking a Packaging Operator (Operator 1) to join the Bolton Foods line. The role involves leading a small team, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring targets are met on a high-speed production line.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education is required.
• Mechanical training or background is a must.
• Experience leading / coordinating a small team of associates is desirable.
• Packaging operator experience and exposure to FMCG/high-speed production is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a small team of operators and temporary staff to meet line targets.
• Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on production machinery.
• Be accountable for multiple machines, processes, or pieces of equipment on the line.
• Assist operators with daily production tasks to ensure targets are met.
