Job summary

McCormick Canada is hiring a Line Operator to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London. This night shift (Mon-Fri, 11:00pm-7:20am) offers hands-on manufacturing experience, operating and supplying production lines, and contributing to Journey to Excellence.

You will complete changeovers, help with preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and follow safety policies. OSSD required; forklift training and SAP knowledge are assets; competitive pay + benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely perform physical work incl. pushing, pulling, lifting up to 60lbs.
• Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify in-process and packaging material problems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
• Capability to complete training for forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Supply and operate production lines.
• Assist in changeovers and complete required checklists.
• Participate in Journey to Excellence and Total Preventive Maintenance initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and elevate when needed.
• Make suggestions for line improvements.
• Work safely and follow all policies and procedures.
