Job summary

McCormick Canada, a leader in spices and flavors, is hiring a Line Operator to join the Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London. The role runs on Night C Shift from 11:00pm to 7:20am, Monday through Friday, with a week starting Sunday at 11:00pm.

You will supply and operate production lines, assist in changeovers, participate in efficiency and maintenance initiatives, troubleshoot equipment, and propose line improvements while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely perform physical work including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work overtime in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify work in process and packaging material problems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Forklift certification training capability.

Responsibilities

• Supply and operate production lines.

• Participate in Journey to Excellence and Total Preventive Maintenance initiatives.

Position Overview

Working in our manufacturing environment, you will:

• Supply and operate production lines
• Assist in change overs and complete required checklists
• Participate in our Journey to Excellence and Total Preventive Maintenance initiatives
• Trouble shoot equipment issues and escalate when needed
• Make suggestions for line improvements
• Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
• Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 60lbs repetitively
• Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify work in process and packaging material problem
• Possess strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to complete training for McCormick certification for forklift
• SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $21.23 + $1.50 shift differential

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate McCormick’s Dividend Plan.
