Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to safely perform physical work (lifting up to 50lbs).
• Ability to work overtime in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good written/verbal communication.
• Capable of training for McCormick forklift certification.
• Experience in food packaging lines or SAP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks including line changeovers and servicing production lines.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and document test runs and data.
• Lead line teams, train new employees and hold team meetings.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance programs.
• Communicate issues to managers and other departments as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

We are currently hiring a Line Maintainer to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London (519 432 7311).

This position is on Night C Shift (Monday-Friday, 10:40pm-7:00am, work week starts at 10:40pm on Sunday).

Position Overview

• Perform production-related tasks, including line changeover, supplying and servicing production lines, and trouble‑shooting equipment issues
• Perform and document test runs, product trials, and data collection
• Hold team meetings, provide direction to line members, and train new employees
• Support continuous improvement projects
• Participate in our Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance initiatives
• Communicate and elevate issues to Managers and other departments when needed
• Work safely and follow all in‑place policies and procedures

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
• Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to work overtime, with minimal supervision and in a fast‑paced environment
• Possess strong attention to detail, organization, trouble‑shooting, prioritizing, and written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to complete training for McCormick certification for forklift
• Food packaging, filling lines or equivalent experience would be considered an asset
• SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $24.22 + $1.50 shift differential.

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Dividend Plan.
