Job summary

McCormick & Company in London, Ontario is hiring a Machine Operator to join the Operations team. This role operates production machines, assists with maintenance, performs sanitation, and ensures quality throughout the shift. The position is on Night C shift, Sunday 10:40pm start through Friday 7:00am.

The ideal candidate has an OSSD diploma, physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work overtime in a fast-paced setting. SAP knowledge and mechanical experience are pluses.

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
• Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to work overtime in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

Position Overview

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base pay for this position is $21.23 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differential for shift. Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Dividend Program.
