Job summary

McCormick Canada is hiring for a Line Maintainer in London, Ontario. Work on night shift (Mon-Fri, 10:40pm-7:00am) on the 6th Clarke Road site, with line changeovers, line servicing, and equipment troubleshooting. Overtime and forklift training offered as part of McCormick certification.

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely perform physical work, including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Overtime readiness in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Training for McCormick forklift certification will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform production-related tasks, including line changeover and servicing production lines.
• Perform and document test runs and data collection.
• Hold team meetings and provide direction to line members; train new employees.
• Support Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance initiatives.
• Communicate issues to Managers and other departments as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.

Position Overview:

Working in our manufacturing environment, you will:

Performproduction-related tasks, includingline changeover, supplyingand servicingproduction lines, and trouble-shootingequipment issues

Perform and document test runs,product trials, and data collection

Hold team meetings,providedirectionto line members, and trainnewemployees

Participate in our Journey to Excellence and Total Preventative Maintenance initiatives

Communicate and elevate issues to Managers and other departments when needed

Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures

Qualifications:

OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing

Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to50lbs repetitively

Ability to work overtime, with minimal supervisionand in a fast-paced environment

Possess strong attention to detail, organization,trouble shooting, prioritizing,and written and verbal communication skills

Capability to complete training for McCormick certification for forklift

Food packaging, filling lines or equivalent experience would be considered an asset

SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $24.22 + $1.50 shift differential

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate inMcCormick’s Dividend Plan.
