Job summary

Saputo Inc. in Georgetown, Ontario, is seeking a production operator to support the filling line in a clean, safe dairy environment. You will set up, start up, operate filling equipment, and maintain documentation and housekeeping to meet food-safety standards.

The role is full-time, night shift Sunday to Thursday, 11:00pm–7:30am, with progression through regular salary increases and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, pension, stock purchase options, and health programs.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to work in a dairy environment.
• Working knowledge in food or dairy environment.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge is an asset.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a high commitment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure case supply to caser equipment and conveyors are properly working.
• Input and receive data from computer terminal.
• Maintain quality checks of codes, seals and weights.
• Regularly clean the work area and equipment.
• Report mechanical failures and perform minor repairs.
• Support Saputo Dairy Products Canada quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
