Job summary

Randstad Canada is hiring a Night Shift Brake Press Operator in Brantford, ON. You will set up, program, and operate CNC and hydraulic brake presses to bend and form metal parts to precise specs, on a Mon-Thu 5:30 PM–4:00 AM schedule.

The role offers a temp-to-perm path with competitive base pay of 26.00–29.00 CAD/hour plus a 1.00–2.00 CAD/hour shift premium, potentially up to 31.00 CAD/hour with experience. Benefits start day one, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Brake presses experience in metal fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop orders.
• Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, protractors).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Night shift availability Mon-Thu 5:30 PM–4:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and hydraulic brake presses to form precision sheet metal parts.
• Select, install, and align tooling, dies, and gauges according to drawings.
• Read blueprints and verify bend dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect first-off and production parts using calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and perform routine equipment maintenance.
