Job summary

Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is seeking an Assembly Technician for the night shift to support assembly testing and painting of gate valve products. You will be responsible for quality workmanship and adhering to safety and process standards.

Hours are 4:15 PM to 2:15 AM, Monday through Thursday, with responsibilities including assembling, stamping, testing, and updating ERP records. You will collaborate with the night shift supervisor and Industrial Engineering to maintain efficiency and product

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years Gate Valve experience.
Strong leadership skills.
Experience with assembly, testing and painting.
Mechanical assembly/repair experience.
Forklift experience is an asset.
Computer skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

Assemble, stamp and test gate valve assemblies in accordance with work order requirements.
Assist nightshift supervisor to ensure shop floor needs are met.
Ensure assembly and testing meet work order requirements.
Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking.
Maintain work station and equipment to Stream-Flo standards of cleanliness.
Fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system.
Report machine, crane and hoist problems and notify maintenance.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations.
Follow standards/procedures; perform testing safely.
Maintain productivity and efficiency.
Work with Industrial Engineering to achieve best practices.
Perform other duties assigned by Lead Hand/Supervisor.
