Job summary

Le Mont Gabriel Hotel, désormais partie du portfolio Tribute Portfolio, recherche un agent de sécurité pour assurer un service sûr et efficace la nuit. Sous la supervision du gestionnaire, vous surveillerez les locaux, contrôlerez les accès et répondrez aux incidents, tout en veillant au confort des clients et au respect des procédures.

Poste à temps plein, horaire 23:00–07:00, salaire horaire de 18,19 CAD, et bénéfices inclus tels que assurances et programme d'aide aux employés.

Qualifications

• Expérience en sécurité appréciée.
• Capacité à travailler en équipe et communiquer efficacement.
• Bonne condition physique et résistance au stress.
• Capacité à comprendre et appliquer les règles de sécurité.
• Disponibilité pour des horaires flexibles, y compris week-ends et jours fériés.

Responsibilities

• Surveiller les locaux de l'hôtel et contrôler les accès.
• Effectuer des patrouilles régulières et vérifier fermetures des portes et fenêtres.
• Maintenir l'ordre et prévenir les intrusions ou vols.
• Faire respecter les règles et alerter les autorités si nécessaire.
• Rédiger des rapports de surveillance quotidiens et répondre aux demandes des clients.

Reporting to the Property Manager, the Security Agent is responsible for safeguarding our assets, staff, and visitors. You will be tasked with maintaining a safe and secure environment by implementing preventive measures and responding appropriately to incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor hotel premises: Control access to the property and buildings, and direct visitors to appropriate areas.
• Conduct regular patrols to inspect various areas of the establishment.
• Check doors and windows to ensure they are properly locked.
• Maintain order and prevent any undue disturbance, trespassing, or property theft.
• Enforce current security regulations within the establishment.
• Expel intruders and unwanted loiterers as necessary.
• Verify the alarm system and fire detectors, adjust thermostats and lights.
• Identify and report fire hazards, malfunctioning machinery, or disruptions in public utilities such as electricity, heating, and ventilation to the relevant authorities.
• Alert the police, firefighters, and ambulance if needed.
• Cooperate with authorities in reporting intruders and unwanted loiterers.
• Enforce establishment regulations regarding internal and external movement of staff, visitors, users, and suppliers.
• Provide effective information and direction to visitors when necessary.
• Prepare daily surveillance reports.
• Provide specialized services as needed, such as responding to customer inquiries, handling lost items, addressing complaints, or referring customers to appropriate personnel.
• Any other related tasks to ensure the quality of the department's service.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Previous experience as a security agent or in a similar field is a plus.
• Knowledge of security procedures and risk prevention techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Quick responsiveness and ability to remain composed in stressful situations.
• Ability to understand and enforce establishment security rules and regulations.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
