Playground Poker in Kahnawake, just south of Montreal, seeks a mature Checkpoint Operator to safeguard entry points and enforce security protocols. You will handle access control, badge issuance, incident reporting, and surveillance monitoring with strong EQ and reliability.

The role emphasizes precise logging, professional communication, and teamwork within a dynamic gaming environment, with a schedule including Friday–Sunday night shifts and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High emotional intelligence and professional demeanor.
• Proven punctuality and attendance track record.
• Experience in live surveillance monitoring or high-security access control desired.
• Fluent English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Access Control & Verification: manage team member entrance and authenticate visitors with 100% compliance.
• Credential Management: create, issue, and log access cards for new employees; track lost/forgotten badges.
• Proactive Surveillance: monitor live video feeds and access control software to detect unauthorized entry or breaches.
• Incident Escalation: communicate incidents clearly and quickly to security personnel.
• Productive Autonomy: audit logs, organize workspace, and maintain readiness during quiet periods.
