Job summary

Manitoulin Transport is seeking a night-shift Dock Worker in Kamloops to unload inbound and load outbound freight, document variances on a handheld device, and reweigh/cube freight as needed. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, forklift experience, and adherence to safety policies.

Duties include keeping the yard tidy, ensuring claim-free movement, and using a computer to set up daily delivery loads. Shift runs Monday to Friday, 10 pm – 6 am, with flexibility to meet freight demands.

Qualifications

• Must work well independently and, at times, with others.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to take direction at times.
• Be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Computer and handheld device experience are assets.
• Must be able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to solve problems when they arise.
