Job summary

Coppersmith Recruitment is seeking Night Cleaning Operatives for a major new contract. The role offers a stable, full-time position with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern and 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Training provided on equipment and safe chemical handling.

You will be part of a facilities management team ensuring cleanliness, safety and hygiene across the site. Ideal candidates will have warehouse or commercial cleaning experience, good English, and be able to start on September

Qualifications

Previous warehouse or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
Willing to start on September 21st.
Passport and photo ID for right-to-work verification.
Must provide own composite safety boots.
Willing to consent to a Basic DBS check.
Strong English language for health and safety purposes.
Physically able to walk and work a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene across the facility.
Full training on equipment and safe chemical handling provided.
General cleaning: sweeping, vacuuming and sanitizing floors, offices, canteens and washrooms.
Waste management: break down cardboard, change bins, remove waste.
Rapid response to ad-hoc cleaning requests and client call-outs.
Care for cleaning equipment and machinery to keep in safe working order.
Strictly comply with site health, safety and hygiene policies.
