Kandor Management Corporation is seeking a Night Cleaner to perform nightly cleaning of mall floors and common areas. Responsibilities include operating floor cleaning equipment, dusting and mopping, and ensuring cleanliness of entrance mats and service corridors.

The role requires physical stamina, reliable attendance, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. You will work nights and respond to supervisor requests to maintain a safe, pristine environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors using auto scrubbers and hand tools.

• Lift/move seasonal entrance mats; clean underneath.
• Address stains or report them to supervisor.
• Clean food court areas and loading bays; manage spills.
• Respect safety signs and report hazards.
• Respond to maintenance requests from the Property Manager.

Report to: Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager

Portfolio Focus:

Casual Night Cleaner will perform daily cleaning of the floors throughout the mall. Cleaning and maintaining the floors in all common areas as well as properly maintaining all equipment. Cleans common area floors and other areas as per contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning (90% Time Spent)

• Auto scrub all common area and vestibule floors.
• Dust mopped and swept (move all furniture, kiddie rides or other 'moveable' obstacles & return to their original location once floor cleaned).
• All gum and adhesives removed. Use a puddy knife or cleaning solution as required.
• Corners, storefronts, and edges inaccessible by power equipment to be broom swept and rinse mopped.
• All entrance mats (seasonal) shall be lifted, the floor underneath swept and mopped, and then properly repositioned.
• Remove any stains from the floor. If a stain can't be removed report it the Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
• Wash food court horseshoe area, Food court back hallways and loading bay area floors.
• Immediately clean up any standing water or spills in entranceways, service corridors, or any other floor surfaces in the center and indicate wet surfaces with Caution - Wet Floor signs until dry and safe from any potential hazard(s).
• Dust mop and wash service corridor floors using walk behind machines as required (indicate wet surfaces with Caution - Wet Floor signs until dry and safe from any potential hazard(s).
• Sweep the escalator (when it is off).
• Sweep and mop the public and freight elevators.
• Respond immediately to calls from the Property Manager, Lead Hand, Supervisor or Manager.
• Respond to fire and or sprinkler alarms as per emergency procedures.
• Always follow all basic safety and security procedures.
• Assist Owner's Employees with promotion, display, and/or table set-up when required or if requested to do so

Administration (10% Time Spent)

• Complete all applicable incident report forms as required.
• Complete all equipment maintenance and logs.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities:

• High dusting duties as required.
• Other reasonable requests.
