The Prince George Hotel in Halifax, Canada is seeking a Night Auditor to join our Guest Services team. The Night Auditor provides warm, professional service to overnight guests, ensures security, and closes the business day.

This role requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hotel. You will manage guest accounts, process reservations, perform the overnight audit, and support hotel operations with accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotels or customer service is an asset.
• Night audit or Front Office experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Professional and guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service during the overnight shift.
• Develop knowledge of hotel services to assist guests and identify sales opportunities.
• Process and maintain guest accounts per credit policies.
• Accept, confirm, modify, and cancel room reservations while communicating booking information.
• Complete the overnight audit and balance accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports for hotel operations.
• Perform system maintenance and month-end POS procedures.
• Troubleshoot system issues and report problems.
• Maintain security presence and conduct regular property patrols overnight.
• Coordinate with authorities when required to ensure safety.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and with sound judgment.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents and hazards.
• Provide valet parking service.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
