Job summary

Nova Hotels in Canada is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to join our Guest Services team. You will balance nightly revenue, prepare end-of-day reports, and ensure accurate financial and operational records while the hotel sleeps.

You will provide warm guest service at check-ins and check-outs, resolve guest concerns, and support overnight operations. The role requires attentiveness to detail, comfortable handling numbers, and the ability to work independently through overnight shifts, weekends,

Qualifications

• High school diploma; hospitality training is a plus.
• 1–2 years hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and comfortable with numbers.
• Experience with POS systems or switchboards is an asset.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Team-first mindset and flexibility for overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional guest service, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with care and accuracy.
• Resolve guest concerns confidently and ensure a positive experience every time.
• Complete the nightly audit process, including balancing room revenue, F&B postings, and guest accounts.
• Review and reconcile all daily transactions, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports in a timely manner.
• Process credit card authorizations and express check-outs.
• Monitor reservations, including identifying duplicates and ensuring accuracy.
• Support Guest Services operations, including wake-up calls and guest communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
• Stay alert to any unusual activity and report concerns as needed.
