Qualifications

  • Experience delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Previous experience in Night Auditor, Front Desk, or Guest Service roles is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions and reconciliations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding guest service through personalized attention and teamwork.
  • Greet guests, manage check-ins/check-outs, and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Listen and respond to guest concerns, provide solutions, and follow through.
  • Process reservations and verify guest information for accuracy.
  • Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately.
  • Ensure revenue postings are correct and timely.
  • Complete daily audit and reconciliation procedures per company standards.
  • Operate cash registers and process payments accurately.
  • Maximize guest satisfaction by following detailed instructions for guests.
  • Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are currently seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will play a highly visible and important role in ensuring guest satisfaction while supporting overnight hotel operations. This position combines the responsibilities of both a Night Auditor and Guest Service Agent, requiring strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Availability Requirement: Candidates must be available to work evenings, overnights, and weekends, with flexibility to work holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional guest service through individualized attention, personal accountability, and effective teamwork.
  • Welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Listen attentively, demonstrate empathy, identify solutions, and follow through to resolve guest concerns and complaints.
  • Process incoming reservations and ensure accuracy of guest information.
  • Review, balance, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Ensure all revenue is posted accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete daily audit and reconciliation procedures in accordance with company standards.
  • Operate cash registers and process all methods of payment accurately.
  • Maximize guest satisfaction by executing detailed instructions for current and prospective guests.
  • Continuously assess and improve work processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, completeness, and professionalism in all duties.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience providing exceptional customer service, including handling guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent, Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor, or in a similar hospitality role is considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when handling financial transactions and reconciliations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with hotel property management systems are considered an asset.
